Several video clips showing our initial experiments with Voltage Controlled TV are now grouped as one Playlist on YouTube.
The images were created by feeding the outputs from various voltage controlled function generators (themselves being modulated in some cases) into the the inputs of a Sony Trinitron and a Tektronix TV Monitor.
Recordings were done with a cheap consumer camcorder and scan rates are noticeable for that reason as well as from the fact that often the sync of the TV monitor itself was being modulated, leaving no frequency to lock on to for video capture.
The video above is “Ego of the Future” from the Caffe Futurismo TV series produced by Voltage Controlled. The general set up of these clips was that we created various control voltages and input them into a Tektronix oscilloscope. The output of the oscilloscope was then fed back into these and other devices to produce audio.
There are now five videos from Caffe Futurismo organized into one play list for your viewing pleasure on YouTube. You can watch them all here. As more are uploaded, they will be added to this play list.
